Heartless Bastards
The Casbah September 3
My early September entertainment calendar had a born out of wedlock theme. I saw Tarantino’s Inglourious Basterds and the Heartless Bastards in the same week. Both were excellent.
The Heartless Bastards feature big fuzzy guitars and are fronted by the Chrissie Hynde-esque Erika Wennerstrom. The crowd at The Casbah was relatively small, but made up for it with high energy.
Good band, good crowd, great show.
