Thao With the Get Down Stay Down

I saw a lackluster Thao show at The Casbah a few weeks ago. She was at the end of a long tour and was obviously wiped out. That was not the case in April when she was an absolute powerhouse.
She really responded to the crowd that skewed young, female, and Asian. It was also the politest crowd I’ve ever experienced at a rock show - a nice change of pace.
It should also be noted that Thao is a very underrated guitar player.
